We recommend that you consider covering the fixed pane as well as the door opening.

Sliding security doors are available as single or triple locking and include interlocking which prevents the door being pulled out and adjustable rollers top and bottom. Your sliding door locks securely behind the channel which is why a single lock door for sliding door is fine. Hinged Doors can be pulled from the top or bottom which is why the standard is triple locking. Of course you can still choose a triple lock door for maximum protection.
